You can get an interesting view from the New Jersey Palisades. Take the PATH to Hoboken, and the Hudson Bergen Light Rail two stops to 9th St (take the Lincoln Harbor train), then take the elevator from the station up to the palisades. It's a pretty unusual way to look down upon the city.
In Toronto the cabs are all different colours, depending on the company. There was a move last year to standardize the colour, but the companies torpedoed it, wanting to retain their individual identities.
We also have "Ambassador Cabs", where the drivers have additional training and are supposed to provide a higher level of service to visitors to the city....
Hola! I'm from Argentina, and cabs here in all the country are yellow and black! It's called "taxi effect", yellow is lighter next to black and black is darker next to yellow, so U can recognize a cab easily even dough distance and light.
Ok, but the fact here is New York, great! ESB is the most espelendorous building I ever knew (I've been there once)

You are right, it's pretty awesome, I will check it out when I have the time. Thanks!
Do the albino cabs have pink headlights? :)
He heh. Probably.
In Israel, all cabs are albino (by law, I think).
In New York cabs are yellow and police cars are white and blue. To a new yorker seeing any other color combination is rather jarring.
The white cab is from Jersey, by the way.
